Congrats to LSU Theatre alum Madison Dirks on Broadway Opening

Madison Dirks, an LSU graduate (2003) and former student in the LSU Department of Theatre, recently appeared in his broadway debut as “Nick” in the 50th anniversary revival of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”

A special reception event for LSU Alumni & Friends took place Thursday, November 29, 2012, honoring Madison Dirks at:

10:00 P.M. | W. 46th STREET

USA Today Review: Astonishing Revival of “Who’s Afraid?”

An LSU Department of Theatre student through 2003, Dirks starred in many productions both for Swine Palace and the LSU Mainstage including “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” and “The Shape of Things.” After leaving Baton Rouge, he moved to Chicago, where he has built a successful stage and film career. His previous Chicago-area theatre credits include “The Chosen” for Steppenwolf Arts Exchange and an understudy role for “Hillbilly Antigone” at Lookingglass Theatre Company.
